The Next Greatest Social Media App

If you haven’t already heard about Periscope, it’s not too late to join the fun! Periscope is a live-streaming video chat with anyone who has the guts enough to broadcast live – like me.  It is a great opportunity to communicate with people who want to hear your message, get breaking news, or just see beautiful places all over the world.  I’m addicted!  Teachers share their ideas for education via Periscope. Scientists and astronauts share live videos about cutting-edge developments in their fields.  And of course, celebrities get in on the fun showing what it’s like to live in their shoes: Where they eat, work and play.  Fitness enthusiasts show live workout videos (I did an archery circuit training workout!).

There are ‘Scopes about how to clean out closets, how to decorate, how to play instruments, travel and everything and anything in between.  Periscope can be used for business too.  There are entertaining ‘Scopes and motivational ‘Scopes.  Mine focus on healthy living, parenting, and how to be the best you can be.

Periscope is the one and only place you can ask someone a question and potentially get an immediate answer.  I say potentially, because the ‘Scoper doesn’t always interact with viewers.  I do, and I love to see the same people tuning in day after day.  On one Periscope I did, one of the viewers had just lost her sister.  My followers and I prayed for her at that moment.  You just never know what will happen.  But everyone ‘Scopes differently.  Some people don’t interact as much, and that’s cool too.  I always ask where the viewers are from — it’s so cool to see people from all over the U.S. joining in.

What you need to know:

*Download the Periscope app.

*You must have a good cell signal to view ‘Scopes and to broadcast.

*Find people you want to watch and click the Follow button.  You will be notified via Twitter when that person goes live.  (I also send out a Tweet 5-15 minutes before my broadcasts so you’re not surprised).

*During the broadcast, you can send Hearts by tapping anywhere on the screen. While hearts are based on popularity, it also shows the broadcaster that what they’re saying resonates with you.  It gives them encouragement to continue and keep talking.  Sometimes I like to see hearts because that lets me know that my broadcast can be seen and heard.  I’ve had a couple of ‘scopes that cut out because of a bad cell signal. So, tap away!

*You can share live broadcasts with others by swiping right on iOS and up on Android and tapping Share.

Once a broadcast is done, it is only available for 24 hours.  After that, it disappears, along with that stray sock in our dryers. Periscopes can be saved to your camera roll, and one other website called

Hope to see YOU on Periscope!

So, what is preventing each of us from having the abundance that the Universe offers? What is causing us to break the Law of Abundance? It is a simple answer to what seems to be a very complicated question. The answer is “the fetters” of life. Fetters are things that weigh us down and prevent us from experiencing the natural flow of succession or what we call success.
