This morning I had this unusual, unflappable feeling come over me. I just didn’t care that my hair was messy, or that what I was wearing looked more like I was going to a rock concert than to church – according to my husband. Yes, the leopard blazer was a bit loud, blue jeans were dark (although untattered), but the knee-high, black leather Christian Louboutin boots were a bit much, I suppose. I just didn’t care. I was covered neck-to-toe and I knew that God would accept me the way I was. Normally, I’d change a hundred times if anyone second-guessed my attire. Ok, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration. I’d only change twenty times. Max. Typically, I’m my own worst critic. But today I woke up with a curious confidence running through my veins that doesn’t often make itself known.
Today I had a spring in my step when I read Romans 8:31 “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Letting my hair go natural —ok there was a little product involved in this do, but WAY less work than blow drying, straightening & curling that I normally do to my hair — and it was so darn easy!! I just might be going au naturale more often!
Do you have an inner critic trying to prevent you from being carefree and happy? The devil would love for us to question ourselves, be fearful and lack the confidence we deserve when we know that God is on our side. He loves us just the way we are. #faith #christianwoman #god #faithful #bible #womenempowerment #christianwomen

Happiness can mean something different to each of us. It can make us feel a certain way or make us smile. Happiness might mean having peace of mind, good health, or lots of money. Will a new car, handbag, or job really make us so content that we need nothing else? Is there really such a thing as happiness, or is it a fantasy in an often brutal existence?
People in developing countries struggle to find fresh water, food, and homes, while those in developed countries worry about which iPhone or computer to purchase. Do advancements in technology make us more content or more frustrated? How many of us use smartphones to record precious moments or beautiful scenery only to miss experiencing the event through our eyes, hearts, and souls?
Remember the first car you so desperately wanted, the one you couldn’t live without? Where is it now? Are you happier because you once owned it? Does fame and wealth expedite happiness? Numerous celebrities and affluent individuals may dispute that fact. More money and more power often mean more problems.
What does happiness mean to you? Is it something you want more of? What if you could get happier & healthier in 4 minutes a day? My e-book is available on Amazon or Barnes & noble.com! Get yours today! #Happiness #Health #Fitness #Fun #Exercise

There’s a growing % of people who want to be self-sufficient and live off the land. According to Forbes magazine, the grass-fed meat industry has increased 30% annually in the past decade. People flock to grocery stores to buy grass-fed and free-range meat because wild game that has the opportunity to run free is healthier and it isn’t full of antibiotics or steriods. Even Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says “Meat tastes better when you hunt it yourself.” But it’s not easy.
Months and years of practice and hours of preparation go into just one hunt. You sit, and sit and wait, and sit some more. To be able to draw a bow when eyes and ears are on you is almost impossible. You have to be proficient, stealthy and graceful. During the hours and hours in an oftentimes cold and quiet tree stand I repeat the Bible verses that proclaim hunting is ok by God: Genesis 9:3 “Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you”. Genesis 27:3 “Now then, take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me.” I know I’ll get some hate from this post, but I want to be open about this “other life” I have. Honestly, I am jazzed that I can provide my family, friends, my community, the military and homeless with the gift of pure, lean sustenance. Hunters donate millions of pounds of meat through Hunters for the Hungry program. We send tons of jerky overseas to our military. We donate sacred nutrition to our churches and communities. That’s pretty darn cool!
We don’t waste food. How many times have you pushed excess food off your plate and into the trashcan? We don’t. If everyone was responsible for procuring their sustenance, how many of us would be less wasteful – and healthier?
Yeah, I’m a hunter and I’m proud. I didn’t buy grassfed meat at the grocery store. I got my own with a sharp stick. #hunter #hunternation #womenwhohunt #archery #archerygirl #mossyoak #outdoorchannel #goldtiparrows #mathewsarchery
