How can any woman have it all and who determines what “IT” is? The path to empowerment starts with you. You get to decide what you want in life and what makes you happy. TRUTH: I used to be frozen. Unable to create boundaries or make any changes. Years ago, I felt stuck, exhausted, and I allowed people to walk all over me, belittle me and betray me. And what’s worse? I stood there and did nothing. Then I got sick and almost died. We all have some sort of inner turmoil that ultimately robs us of the joy God meant for us to experience. Most of my life I was a people pleaser, (a # 2 on the enneagram scale) I put the needs of everyone else; my family, friends, charities, pets and anyone else who needed anything - before taking care of myself. I’ve been betrayed, cheated on, taken advantage of and I’ve struggled with depression and even thoughts of suicide. Then something changed - I changed - when I finally had enough. I didn’t want to play the victim anymore. In my new women’s empowerment challenge I’ll teach you what I did to reframe, reboot and reclaim my power! This 3-Day challenge focuses on 1 pillar each day - with action oriented prompts, inspirational videos and mindset shifts to activate your empowerment. The challenge will be delivered to your Facebook Messenger inbox each day. The challenge begins February 26th! Hi there! Welcome to my channel! I’m so glad you’re here! I hope you’ll find interesting, educational and entertaining content about everything related to becoming happier and healthier!
I’ve been a group fitness instructor since 1980, appeared on all sorts of TV shows like Entertainment Tonight (back in the John Tesh days), vh1, MTV, CMT (for several reality shows), C-Span, MSNBC, FOX, Howard Stern, Outdoor Channel – where I co-host & co-produce Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild, and many more!
I was blessed to be able to work with Beto Perez and develop Zumba in the Circuit; I was one of the first Zumba Jammers; a Zumba convention presenter, and I even trained Zumba Jammers in Australia! I’ve traveled the world sharing my passion for healthy living with others.
I’ve written a few books; Married to a Rock Star, 4 Minutes a Day – which became a best seller on Amazon the day it launched – A new edition is coming out in 2020 – but the reason I’m here is, despite all of my efforts to stay healthy and happy, I got sick from toxic mold between the walls of my home that was once on MTV Cribs.
AND I’ve been humiliated and betrayed.
One day, God nudged me.
I feel encouraged to share my story with you here and I hope that it helps you in some way. If it does, I’d be honored if you left a comment below. I’d love to hear more about YOU!
